Healing is NOT my purpose

Is anybody else over hearing the word healing constantly? If we’re healing all the time this implies that we’re never actually healed. We’re chasing something we can never have. We’re running, again, We’re burning out, again. Trying to achieve and do and do and do…when do we ever just get to BE? Constant healing doesn’t feel like peace to me, it feels like chaos. And don’t get me wrong, I think it’s beautiful that we get to converse, communicate, and share wisdom about this idea of healing. That we get to revisit our traumas and allow them to move through our bodies to a space that no longer controls the way we move through our lives. To actually heal is a gift to and from yourself. But when we’re constantly healING, we aren’t allowing ourselves to enjoy the fact that we actually healED from something. We just move onto the next one, consistently distracting, quieting, and distancing ourselves from the bodies that we worked so hard to listen to in the first place. If you’ve healed from something, enjoy it, appreciate it. If you’re constantly healing, this is your sign to give it a rest, stop, sit, clear your mind. Let the body take over and be grateful for completing a cycle and coming back to peace.
